With MWL and document scanning

Using this optional CD Importing Tool on PACSView, import utility, studies on PDI compliant CDs or DVDs can be read into the application and matched with an existing order on the system via MWL tools. Key demographic and study information can be substituted with data from the order or edited manually before importation.

Optionally, all images can be viewed and a subset of images can be selected to send to the archive.

Paper information that accompanies the media can be scanned in as a DICOM secondary capture image and stored to the archive as a new series in the study. Any number of DICOM archives can be configured to receive the imported studies.

Utilities allow the user to monitor the progress of the study as it is sent to the archive and the user can also download and view the imported study from the DICOM server to verify that all information was properly received.
